We are the salt and light of the Greater Seattle Area

"But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
- Matthew 12:42-44

How To Support Us.

Ministry Partnership

We aren't just looking for financial supporters, we are looking for ministry partners. We are looking for people and churches that are passionate about our vision and desire to see revival in young adults across the entire Greater Seattle Area.

Our mission field is big, it spans over 4,200 square miles, across two separate counties, with more than three million people people who call the Greater Seattle Area their home. We know our ambitions are great, but we also know our God is greater.

Prayer

Prayer

The first way we ask you to support us is through prayer. We believe prayer has the power to impact communities and transform lives, which is why we ask you to pray for us. Pray for our leaders and team members, pray that we continue to submit before the Lord, pray that we walk in step with the Holy Spirit, and pray that God moves in the hearts of every young adult we encounter across the Greater Seattle Region.

Giving

The second way we ask you to support us is financially. For us to cover our monthly operation costs and to continue growing as a ministry, we need financial partners. Our goal is 100 people partnering with us, giving $100 a month, and 10 churches partnering with us, giving $1000 a month. As you pray and consider supporting us, we ask that you do so in addition to your tithe to your local church, not in replacement of it.

Share

The last way we ask you to support us is by sharing what OSAL is and our vision. You can do this by sharing our ministry with your local church pastor, inviting your friends and family to join you in partnership with us, and even engaging with our social media content to help us grow our online presence. With you as a ministry partner, we can spread the gospel across this region in a way never before seen.

Our Goal.

Help us fulfill our goal of 100 people + 10 church partners!

FAQs

How do I stay updated as a ministry partner?

First, we want to say thank you for becoming a ministry partner with us! We are excited to see how the Lord will move through your prayers, giving, and support. The two primary ways to stay updated are by following us on social media and reading our monthly ministry update blog. On social media, you will be able to hear about what our groups are doing on a weekly basis as well as what events you can be praying for as they are coming up. In our monthly blog, Josh gives a report of what transpired over the past month and what is upcoming in the next.

Will my financial information be secure?

Yes! We use a platform that maintains PCI compliance, which is an industry standard amongst nearly every giving platform for churches and religious organizations in the United States. So whether you choose to give via debit, credit, or direct deposit, your information is encrypted and secure from start to finish.

Do I receive a tax write-off for my contributions?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide tax write-offs for our supporters at this point in time. In order for us to do so, we would need to restructure as a non-profit and file for 501(c)(3) exemption with the IRS. Currently, "Of Salt and Light" is structured as a Limited Liability Company (LLC), with plans for us to start the process of restructuring as a non-profit with 501(c)(3) status in the future.

Who can I contact if I have more questions?

We are glad to hear that you would like more information and are eager to hear your questions! Send an email with your questions to Josh!
